What it is
My Check-In is a 19 page downloadable, editable and reusable, private, structured personal monitoring resource that helps you understand your patterns, coping, routines, pressures, and responses - without scores, labels or judgement.
It can be used to monitor how things are for you, recognise patterns and notice changes over time.
Who is it for?
My Check-In can be used wherever you are starting from — whether you drink alcohol or use other substances occasionally or regularly, are considering or making changes, maintaining changes you've already made, or are living without alcohol or substances.
You don't need to identify with a particular label, want to make changes or be using a service to use it.
Why use it?
Changes don't always happen suddenly. They can build gradually and become part of everyday life before you realise how much has shifted. Knowing what is usual for you can make gradual changes easier to recognise.
How it can help
My Check-In helps you take stock, recognise patterns and join the dots between different areas of your life. Used again over time, it can help you see what has stayed the same, what has changed and what might need more attention.
How do I use it?
Start wherever you are today. Work through the prompts based on the last few weeks and what is usual for you.
Keep your completed Check-In and come back whenever it feels useful. Complete it again, and compare it with your previous Check-In.
Over time, you're not relying only on how you remember things being. You're giving yourself something to look back on.
What it can make clearer
It can help turn " I know something feels different, but I can't quite see what's changed” into a clearer picture.
My Check-In doesn't tell you what your life should look like. It helps you see your own more clearly.

My Safer Choices
coming soon
Reduce risk. Make safer choices.
What it is
A structured harm-reduction resource that helps you look at your situation, recognise what could increase risk and identify practical ways to make things safer.
Who is it for?
My Safer Choices is for people who use alcohol or other substances -occasionally or regularly- and for people making changes to how, when or what they use.
You don't need to be trying to stop or be using a service to use it.
Why use it?
Risk isn't always about one thing. What you're using, how you're using, your tolerance, how you are physically and emotionally, your surroundings and what you need to do afterwards can all affect the situation.
Several things can also come together. Something that felt familiar or manageable before may carry different risks today.
How it can help
My Safer Choices helps you look at what's happening today, recognise how different risks may be adding up and consider practical ways to reduce risk and make the situation safer.
It helps you make a safer choice that fits your situation- whether you want to make a quick decision or want to think ahead and have a backup plan.
It doesn't tell you what your choice has to be.
How do I use it?
Use My Safer Choices in the way that fits your situation. For a quick decision, use the quick safer decision. To look more closely at risk, use My Situation Check and the sections that apply to you.
Come back to it whenever it's useful, or return over time to notice patterns, review what helped and keep track of what may be affecting your safety.
You don't need to complete everything - start with what matters to you today.
What it can make clearer
It can help turn " I've done this before, so I should be fine" or " I'm not sure what the biggest risk is today" into a clearer understanding of what could increase risk, what matters most in your situation and what could make it safer.
My Living Tools
coming soon
Practical tools for making change work.
What it is
A practical toolkit of resources you can choose from, use in your own way and return to as your needs or circumstances change.
Who is it for?
My Living Tools is for anyone who wants practical support to make a change, put it into practice, or maintain changes they've already made.
Use what is relevant to you and leave what isn't. You don't need to work through the tools in order or use them all.
Why use it?
Knowing what you want to change is one thing. Putting that into practice — particularly during difficult moments, changing circumstances or when old patterns return — can be much harder.
How it can help
Choose the tools that fit what you need — whether that's understanding triggers, managing urges or cravings, planning ahead, keeping track of patterns, reflecting on progress or building on what's already working.
What it can make clearer
My Living Tools can help turn “I know what I want to change, but I'm not sure how to keep doing it” into practical ways to make that change work in everyday life.
